Heartbreaking stories were told at the Ontario Health Coalition’s Orchard Villa protest.

“She was dehydrated, scared, could barely get to the window. We brought her in here at 105 lbs and she passed away at 68 lbs.” – Diane Colangelo, whose mother was a resident.

Cathy Parkes, whose father died of #COVID19 at Orchard Villa, said she has no faith in Southbridge to run the home. “There is no coming back from this. I’m hoping that the [Durham] region will take it over, give it a new name change, improve quality … no more 4 beds/room.”
