Province not to blame for aging hospital facilities in Scarborough: MPPs

Two Scarborough MPPs say Ontario’s Liberal government isn’t to blame for inadequate, aging facilities at both Scarborough hospitals which would hamper their efficiency even if they decide to merge.
The hospitals themselves are responsible, Soo Wong and Bas Balkissoon suggested.
“If the administration does not do its work and identify its needs, how do you expect the government to respond?” asked Balkissoon, Liberal MPP for Scarborough-Rouge River.
